Compliance Plan Reporting

Platform 6.4+

The Compliance Plan Reporting page provides visibility into compliance status across your infrastructure. It organizes information across four tabs: Dashboard, Compliance Plans, Reports, and Devices. An Export Summary dropdown is available on all tabs except Dashboard.

To open Compliance Plan Reporting, select Compliance Plans from the left navigation menu in Configuration Manager.

Compliance Plan Reporting is available after enabling useNewComplianceView for Configuration Manager in Admin Essentials.

Dashboard tab

The Dashboard tab provides an at-a-glance overview of compliance status across all active plans and devices.

Metric cards

Metric	Description
Active Compliance Plans	Total number of active compliance plans. Includes a breakdown of scheduled vs. manual plans and a View All link. Shows change vs. prior 7 days.
Devices Audited	Total number of devices audited across all plans, with a View All link.
Avg. Compliance Rate	Average compliance percentage across all active plans. Shows change vs. prior 7 days.
Connection Success (24h)	Connection success rate over the last 24 hours. Shows the number of connection failures and change vs. prior 7 days.

Plans Needing Attention

Displays compliance plans that scored below 85% on their latest compliance run. The count badge shows the total number of plans requiring attention. When all plans are healthy, this panel displays All plans healthy.

Recent Connection Issues

Displays devices that failed to connect during their most recent compliance run, along with the specific error message returned by each device and the time since the last run. Click View all # errors to see the full list.

Compliance by Operating System

Displays compliance results grouped by operating system. Each row shows the OS type badge, OS name, a compliance progress bar, compliance percentage, device count, and a link to view errors. Click the errors link to drill down into OS-level error details.

Recent Compliance Runs

A paginated table of recent compliance runs across all plans.

Column	Description
Plan Name	The name of the compliance plan
Execution Date	Date and time the run was triggered
Devices	Number of devices included in the run
Compliance	Compliance percentage for the run
Connection Success	Connection success rate for the run
Duration	How long the run took to complete
Triggered By	How the run was initiated (Manual or Scheduled)

All columns are sortable.

Compliance Plans tab

The Compliance Plans tab shows coverage and health metrics across all compliance plans, with a list of all plans and their current status.

Metric cards

Metric	Description
Total Devices in Inventory	Total number of managed devices across all inventory sources
Devices with Coverage	Number of devices associated with at least one compliance plan, shown as a percentage of total inventory
Active Compliance Plans	Total number of active compliance plans across all teams. Shows change vs. prior 7 days.
Device Connection Health	Connection health across all devices over the last 7 days. Shows change vs. prior 7 days.

Compliance plans list

A paginated, searchable table of all compliance plans.

Column	Description
Plan Name	The name of the compliance plan. Click to open the per-plan view.
Compliance	Compliance percentage from the most recent run
Devices Audited	Number of devices audited in the most recent run
Last Run	Time since the most recent run
Connection Status	Connection success rate and error count from the most recent run

All columns are sortable. Use the search field to filter plans by name.

Click a plan name to open the per-plan view.

Reports tab

The Reports tab provides a historical view of all compliance plan executions across all plans.

Metric cards

Metric	Description
Active Compliance Plans	Total number of active compliance plans. Includes a breakdown of scheduled vs. manual plans.
Total Devices Covered	Number of devices covered by at least one compliance plan, shown as a percentage of total inventory
Avg. Compliance Rate	Average compliance percentage across all active plans. Shows change vs. prior 7 days.
Plans Needing Attention	Number of plans with compliance below 85%. Click View More to see the list.

Reports list

A paginated, searchable table of all compliance plan execution records.

Column	Description
Plan Name	The name of the compliance plan
Schedule	Whether the run was manual or scheduled
Devices or Instances	Number of devices or instances included in the run
Compliance	Compliance percentage, shown as a progress bar and percentage value
Connection	Connection success rate for the run
Non-Compliant	Number of non-compliant devices
Errors	Number of errors detected
Last Run	Time since the run completed

All columns are sortable. Use the search field to filter by plan name.

Click a row to open the per-report view.

Devices tab

The Devices tab provides a device-centric view of compliance coverage, backup health, and connection status across your entire inventory.

Metric cards

Metric	Description
Total Devices	Total number of devices in inventory
Coverage Rate	Percentage of devices associated with at least one compliance plan. Click View unaudited to see devices with no plan associations.
Backup Health	Percentage of devices with healthy backups. Click View stale backups to see devices with stale backups.
Connection Success (Last 24h)	Connection success rate over the last 24 hours. Click View errors to see devices with connection failures.

Device list

Use the quick filter tabs to narrow the device list:

Filter	Description
All Devices	All devices in inventory
Audited	Devices audited at least once by a compliance plan
Unaudited	Devices with no compliance plan associations
Connection Errors	Devices that failed to connect in the last 24 hours
Stale Backups	Devices with backups older than 7 days or no backup on record

The device table is paginated and searchable.

Column	Description
Device Name	The device name as it appears in inventory
IP Address	The device IP address
Device OS	The device operating system
Groups	Device groups the device belongs to
Compliance Plans	Number of compliance plans associated with the device
Last Compliance	Time since the most recent compliance check
Backup Status	Age of the most recent backup

All columns are sortable.
