View device compliance details

The device detail page provides a compliance-focused view of a specific device, including its compliance status across all plans, connection history, trend data, and available backups. To open a device’s detail page, click its name in the Devices tab of the Compliance Plan Reporting page.

The page header displays the device name and the following metadata:

Field	Description
Status	Whether the device is currently connected. Displays as a CONNECTED or ERROR badge.
IP Address	The device IP address
Operating System	The device operating system
Groups	Device groups the device belongs to

The following actions are available from the top right:

Action	Description
Backup Now	Trigger an immediate backup of the device configuration
Export	Export device data as CSV or JSON

Metric cards

Metric	Description
Overall Compliance	The device’s compliance percentage across all plans
Plans Monitoring	Number of active compliance plans that include this device
Non-Compliant Rules	Number of non-compliant rules across all plans
Connection Success Rate	Connection success rate across the last N connection attempts

Compliance plans

A table of all compliance plans that include this device.

Column	Description
Plan Name	The name of the compliance plan
Last Run	Time since the plan’s most recent run
Status	The device’s compliance status in this plan
Compliance	The device’s compliance percentage in this plan
Issues	Number of issues detected in the most recent run

Click a plan name to open the compliance plan detail page for that plan.

Compliance trend chart

The Compliance Trend chart shows this device’s compliance percentage over time. Use the All Plans dropdown to filter by a specific compliance plan, and the time range toggle to adjust the view:

Range	Description
7d	Last 7 days
30d	Last 30 days (default)
3mo	Last 3 months
6mo	Last 6 months

Connection history

A table of recent connection attempts for this device.

Column	Description
Timestamp	Date and time of the connection attempt
Status	Whether the connection succeeded (CONNECTED) or failed (ERROR)
Context	The operation that triggered the connection attempt (for example, Get operational data or Check device connection)
Error	The error message returned by the device, if applicable

Available backups

A table of available configuration backups for this device.

Column	Description
Backup Date	Date and time the backup was taken
Age	How long ago the backup was taken
Size	The size of the backup file
Status	Whether the backup is the most recent (CURRENT) or has been superseded (STALE)

Click Backup Now to trigger an immediate backup of the device’s current configuration.

Backups older than 7 days are marked as STALE. When running compliance against a backup configuration, the system warns you if the selected backup is stale. For more information, see Connection error reporting.
