Navigate Configuration Manager
Access and navigate Configuration Manager through the Itential Platform interface.
Open Configuration Manager
To access Configuration Manager:
Configuration Manager opens in your active browser tab.
Understand the interface
Configuration Manager organizes content into seven main views:
Toolbar actions
The toolbar at the top of Configuration Manager provides quick access to common tasks:
- Create (+): Create a new configuration, device group, or parser.
- Search (🔍): Open the Collection modal to search across device collections.
- Home (🏠): Return to the Configuration Manager home page.
- Documentation (📖): Open the Itential product documentation site.
- About (☰): View the release version running in your environment.
Home page features
The home page includes:
- Pinned items: Elements you’ve pinned from any page in Configuration Manager, using the pin icon next to each item.
- Quick Start card: Search a device collection using filter settings, or create a new collection.
- Recent activity: View recent configuration operations.
