Summary Dashboard

The Summary Dashboard provides high-level Itential Platform health and ROI metrics for executives and stakeholders, focusing on root jobs (complete business operations).

  • Project Distribution: How workflows are distributed across projects

Workflows Overview

The Workflows Overview provides comprehensive performance analysis across all workflows, helping builders identify issues and optimization opportunities.

Key features:

  • Performance cards highlighting workflows with high cancelation rates or runtime degradation
  • Sortable, filterable table of all workflows with detailed metrics
  • Ability to toggle between root jobs and all jobs (root and child) views

How Insights works with other Itential products

Job Viewer

While Job Viewer provides detailed execution information for individual jobs, Insights provides aggregated analytics across all your workflow executions. Use Insights to identify trends and issues, then use Job Viewer for detailed troubleshooting.

Studio

Insights analyzes data from workflows created in Studio. To get the most value from Insights, configure pre-automation time for your workflows in Studio - this enables Insights to calculate time saved and demonstrate ROI.

Platform

Insights analyzes execution data from your Itential Platform environments. Select different environments in Insights to analyze performance across different environments, such as: development, staging, and production.
