Configuring an IAP Instance

This article will provide information on how to configure an IAP instance using the Itential Automation Services app within the ServiceNow platform.

  1. Click the All tab at the top lefthand corner, click the Itential drop-down menu, and then select the IAP Instances Config option.

2. Click the Instance you want to configure or click the New icon at the top righthand corner of the page to configure a new instance.

  1. Type in the Name, Hostname, and Token in the their respective fields.
    Note: You do not need to include a username and password if a token is provided

  2. Search for the role(s) that is associated with the IAP instance in the Roles field.

  1. Click Submit to finish.

Verify the IAP Instance

How to verify if your IAP instance has been added to the ServiceNow application.

  1. Click the All tab at the top lefthand corner, click the Itential drop-down menu, and then select Itential Automation Services.

  1. Click the Instances drop-down menu at the top right of the screen and scroll to view your instance.

Changing your password will log you out immediately. Use the new password to log back in.
First name must have atleast 2 characters. Numbers and special characters are not allowed.
Last name must have atleast 1 characters. Numbers and special characters are not allowed.
