Verifying the LDAP Connection

LDAP Server

To verify connectivity to the LDAP server:

  1. Login to the LDAP server.
  2. Go to the Profiles view (IAP > Admin Essentials > Profiles).
  3. Click the Adapters tab and locate the LDAP server in the table grid that displays. A status indicator (closed circle) and connection icon (right triangle) will display to indicate if the server is properly connected. This tab updates every 60 seconds when open.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any problems and you are unable to connect:

  1. Run the command journalctl -fu pronghorn. This command will display all output to the STDOUT.
  2. Try to login to IAP using the browser and all errors will be displayed.
