User Profile APIs Deprecated

This deprecation notice applies to the 2023.2 IAP release.

Itential policy is to notify customers of deprecations two (2) release cycles in advance (at a minimum) before a property is removed.

Removal of User Profile APIs

The getUserProfile and updateUserProfile APIs are deprecated and scheduled for removal from the Itential platform.

API Description Deprecation Release Scheduled Removal Release Replacement
getUserProfile Gets the user profile for the active user. 2023.2 2024.2 GET /user/settings
updateUserProfile Updates the user profile for the active user. 2023.2 2024.2 PATCH /user/settings

What should I do?

Please test and confirm all custom applications and adapters are unaffected by the API replacements. If you need assistance or require more information, contact the Itential Customer Support Team.
