New Workflow Task Added to AG Manager

The following is a release alert for the new discoverAll workflow task in app-ag_manager for the 2023.2.1 release.

Use Case: Corrupted Task Data Due to Manual IAG Discovery in IAP

When discovering multiple IAG instances attached to IAP, it oftentimes became problematic. Each IAG instance had to be discovered individually, one after the other, not all together. In other words, they had to be discovered "one at a time". Moreover, each IAG would have to wait for the pronghorn.json file to be updated and the application restarted before discovering the next IAG.  Consequently, this lead to issues with corrupted task data if the process executed too quickly and the application was not restarted completely.

Resolution: New Workflow Task Added

A new workflow task named discoverAll has been added to the agManager task list.  This task will discover all attached IAG instances and update the pronghorn.json file before restarting the agManager application.  This task eliminates the need to manually discover each IAG "one at a time".  A simple workflow of undiscoverAll followed by discoverAll will cleanly import all agManager tasks.
