As a measure of best practice, follow the instructions on how to install the adapter provided after you complete building the adapter on Adapter Builder. You should also:

  • Make sure to lint and test the adapter.
    • The goal of Adapter Builder is 0 lint issues
    • The goal of Adapter Builder is 100% of tests passing.
  • Be aware that authentication and integration may take some time to get working.
  • Review the Adapter Authentication and Adapter Troubleshooting resources for more information.

Troubleshooting

Issues can occur when using Adapter Builder. If they do arise, it may be because of the following circumstances.

  • Keywords are set as parameters.
  • Bugs from API Specification conversion.

Note: If you are aware of issues before using Adapter Builder, please correct them. It will save time if you correct issues before integrating.
