# Verify Config task removed

> Breaking change notice that the verifyConfig API has been removed from app-mop in Platform 6, with guidance on using the replacement in app-nso_manager.

The `verifyConfig` API has been removed from `app-mop` (Template Builder) in Platform 6. This API was a manual task called by Workflow Builder to manually validate dry-run outputs in NSO.

As a replacement, validate device configurations against a Network Element Driver (NED) by calling the API from `app-nso_manager`. For additional information, see:
