# Monitor and troubleshoot CyberArk

> Resolve common CyberArk integration issues

## Monitor health

Track CyberArk integration status:

Check `/health/status` endpoint

Review CyberArk health metrics

Set up connection failure alerts

The health endpoint doesn't report CyberArk failures as critical. This prevents automatic Itential Platform restarts in cloud environments.

## Troubleshoot common issues

### Connection failures

**Symptoms:** Cannot retrieve secrets, authentication errors

**Solutions:**

Verify network connectivity between Itential Platform and CyberArk CCP

Confirm AppID configuration and permissions are correct

Check firewall rules and SSL certificates

Review CyberArk audit logs for denied requests

### Secret not found

**Symptoms:** Itential Platform cannot find the specified secret

**Solutions:**

Verify Safe and Account name spelling

Confirm the secret exists in the Safe

Check CyberArk permissions for the AppID

Use query parameters to refine your search

### Performance issues

**Symptoms:** Slow secret retrieval, timeout errors

**Solutions:**

Optimize CyberArk query parameters

Implement caching where appropriate

Review network latency between Itential Platform and CyberArk CCP

Consider CyberArk CCP scaling options
