# Verify Config API deprecated

> Deprecation notice that the verifyConfig API in app-mop is deprecated in 2023.2.6 and scheduled for removal in Platform 6.

This deprecation notice applies to the **2023.2.6** release.

## Removal of Verify Config API

The `verifyConfig` API in `app-mop` is deprecated and will be removed in Platform 6.
