# Profile route and profile property deprecated

> Deprecation notice that the /profile route and uiProps.profile property are deprecated in 2023.2 and scheduled for removal in 2024.2.

This deprecation notice applies to the **2023.2** release.

## Removal of profile route and profile property

The `/profile` route and corresponding `uiProps.profile` property in the Platform system profile are deprecated and scheduled for removal from Itential Platform.

## What should I do?

With this removal, the user profile page will be renamed to **User Settings**, accessible via the app banner menu by clicking your username.
