# Audit Trail collection removed

## Breaking change notice

The `audit_trail` collection has been removed from Itential Platform in the 2023.2 release. No audit logging replacement or equivalent is available at this time.

| `audit_trail` | Collection of audit logs that store system activity for multiple users and applications. | 2023.1              | 2023.2          | None        |

The following two functions are **not** deprecated as part of this removal and can still be used in Platform 6:

* `auditTrail.getUser()`
* `auditTrail.getUserObject()`

## What should I do?
