# Regenerate client secret

PATCH http://localhost:3000/oauth/serviceAccounts/{client_id}/regenerate

Regenerates the client_secret and returns the new value.

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (basic auth, required) — Basic authentication of the form `Basic <base64(username:password)>`.

### Path parameters

- `client_id` (string, required) — The clientId for the service account

## Response

### 200

The new client credentials for a service account

- `client_id` (string, optional) — String representation of a MongoDB ObjectId
- `client_secret` (string, optional) — Uuid representation of client secret

## Errors

### 500 Internal Server Error
