# Check application status via Profiles

> How to check application and index status using Profiles in Admin Essentials.

#### Open the active Profile

From Admin Essentials, select the active Profile and navigate to the **Applications** tab. The page displays details in a wide table.

#### Verify application count

Check the number of applications shown in the lower right corner and confirm the number of services matches the profile.

#### Verify indexes

Click the **Indexing** tab and confirm all indexes are up and running.

#### Verify Studio

Using Studio, verify that you can open or save an automation and run a task. If not, restart Workflow Engine and repeat the process.
