# iagctl mcp server remove

Gateway 5.5+

Remove an MCP server.

The `iagctl mcp server remove` command deregisters an MCP server from Itential Gateway's data store. This action cannot be undone. To restore access to the server's tools, you must re-register it using `iagctl mcp server add`.

## Syntax

iagctl mcp server remove <name> [flags]
```

## Examples

### Remove an MCP server
