# iagctl describe decorator

Display details about a decorator.

The `iagctl describe decorator` command displays all information about a specific decorator in the gateway data store. For more information on decorators, see [Validate and limit service inputs with decorators](../using-decorators).

## Syntax

```bash
iagctl describe decorator <decorator-name> [flags]
```

## Examples

The following example displays details about a decorator called `my-decorator`:

```bash
iagctl describe decorator my-decorator
```
