# iagctl delete secret-provider

Gateway 5.5+

Remove a secret provider configuration from Itential Gateway and evict any cached connection from the provider registry.

Any secret aliases that reference this provider will fail to resolve after you delete the provider. Update or remove those aliases before deleting the provider.

## Syntax

iagctl delete secret-provider <name>
```
