# Itential Platform Cloud subscription tiers

> Compare Itential Cloud subscription tiers to understand which applications and capabilities are included at each subscription level.

Itential Platform Cloud is available in four tiers: **Essentials**, **Compliance**, **Scale**, and **Enterprise**. Each tier builds on the previous one, adding applications and raising service limits.

Itential Gateway (IG) is customer-hosted on-premises in all tiers. Service Manager (NSO) is not included in any tier and is available as a separate add-on.

At Essentials and Compliance, Itential can provide the LLM. When Itential provides the LLM, Itential controls which model runs agents and you cannot change it. At Scale and Enterprise, you must bring your own LLM provider and choose your model.

## Operations Manager: automation types by tier

Each tier expands the automation types you can create and run in Operations Manager.

## Itential Gateway: server limits by tier

Itential Platform Cloud supports Itential Gateway 5 only. At Essentials and Compliance, you can register up to two Itential Gateway servers. Scale and Enterprise have no server limit.

## Overage policy

At Essentials and Compliance, you can exceed your monthly agent execution limit once per 12-month contract period without penalty. A second overage in the same period requires an upgrade to the next tier.
