NSO is designed to be an integration layer between a front end and the network and be generally agnostic in managing network services. Itential Platform leverages this ability by supporting integration with NSO via adapter-nso and itential_tools.

Itential packages software in specific stock keeping units (SKUs) that contain one or more licenses and platform capabilities. To make use of NSO for Itential Cloud, an additional standalone customer ("end user") license is required.
