Environments

If your organization has licensed the Itential Platform, you will have access to one or more Itential Platform environments. The environments you have access can be found by selecting Orchestration → Environments from the sidebar.

Access an environment

To start working inside of a specific Itential Platform environment:

  1. Log into Cloud Hub.
  2. Locate the desired environment in the Environments page in the Cloud Hub.
  3. Click the Launch itentialCloudPortalLaunchIcon icon; the UI of the environment will open in a new web browser tab.

Restarting an environment

Restarting applies recent configuration changes to your environment. This process typically takes several minutes to complete.

During restart:

  • Your environment remains accessible
  • Some long-running jobs or tasks may be affected

To restart an environment:

  1. Locate the desired environment in the Environments page.
  2. Click the Name or Id of the instance to open the Modify Instance window.
  3. Click Restart itentialCloudRestartIcon.
  4. Type the displayed environment name in the confirmation field. A success banner displays when the restart process is successfully initiated.
  5. After the restart completes, verify that your jobs and tasks completed successfully.
