The Inventory Manager UI provides a read-only view of your inventories and nodes. You can view inventory details, browse nodes, and examine node attributes, but you can't create or modify resources through the UI. Access the dashboard

Access Inventory Manager from the left navigation menu in Itential Platform:

  1. Select Inventory Manager from the Operation collection in the left-side navigation menu.
  2. The dashboard opens, showing your inventory overview.

Dashboard overview

The dashboard displays summary metrics and a list of all inventories you have access to view.

Metrics:

  • Total inventories: Count of all inventories in the system
  • Total nodes: Count of all nodes across all inventories

Inventories table:
Each inventory shows:

  • Inventory name
  • Associated groups (for RBAC)
  • Associated tags
  • Node count
  • Actions count
  • Last updated timestamp

Filter and search inventories using the controls above the table.

View inventory nodes

To view the nodes in an inventory, select the inventory from the table. The inventory details page opens in your active browser and displays the following information:

Nodes tab:
Each node shows:

  • Node name
  • Associated tags
  • Last updated timestamp

Actions tab:

  • Action name
  • Associated tags
  • Last updated timestamp

Filter and search nodes or actions using the controls above the tables.

View node details

To view a node's attributes, select the node from the Nodes table. The node details panel opens on the right-side of the page and displays the following information:

  • Node name
  • Node ID
  • Last updated timestamp
  • Node attributes: connection parameters, device settings, and any custom properties you've defined for the node.

View action details

To view an action’s configuration, select the action from the Actions table. The action details panel opens on the right-side of the page and displays the following information:

  • Action name
  • Action type (iag5-service)
  • Date created timestamp
  • Last updated timestamp
  • Action configuration: the associated service name and cluster ID
