Next, we will look at the Meraki devices in the Configuration Manager application within IAP.

Step 1
From the IAP Dashboard, select Configuration Manager and then expand the Devices menu.

Here, you can see the Meraki devices have been federated into IAP. Select one of the devices.

Notice the device is online. When selected, IAP will run a quick test to ensure the device is reachable. Click Load Configuration.

Configuration Manager will perform an API call to the Meraki Controller using the Itential adapter to grab the configuration of the device.

To create a device backup, click the + in the Device Details section.

Enter a description for the backup and click Create.

The backup is created and appears on the Backups tab. Device backups can be created manually in Configuration Manager, or they can be added to a workflow as part of a larger orchestration or automation process.
