The Itential Lab is a shared lab and therefore inventory assets will need to be reserved to avoid multiple users using the same test data on the lab devices/systems. Please note that the lab is set to reset between 12 and 1 AM EST (US), and any reserved assets will be reclaimed at that time.
The use cases outlined within this section are intended to be completed on Itential's Trial infrastructure and lab. For more details about accessing this infrastructure and lab, please visit www.itential.com/get-started
You may notice that the subnet we are reserving for the Port/VLAN Configuration (IOS and EOS) use cases is smaller than what you would typically use for creating a VLAN. We’ve intentionally condensed the subnets in order to ensure more users can leverage Itential’s lab devices while accomplishing use cases.
The following use cases require asset reservations:
- EOS Port/VLAN Configuration
- F5 Load Balancer Provisioning
- IOS Port/VLAN Configuration
