# View compliance plan details

> Review compliance status, connection errors, trend data, and device results for a specific compliance plan

The compliance plan detail page provides a full view of a specific plan's compliance status, connection errors, trend history, and device-level results. To open a plan's detail page, click its name in the [Compliance Plans tab](/itential-cloud/configuration-manager/compliance-plans/reporting#compliance-plans-tab) of the Compliance Plan Reporting page.

## Page header

The page header displays the plan name and the following metadata from the most recent run:

| Field        | Description                                               |
| ------------ | --------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Schedule** | Whether the plan runs on a schedule or manually           |
| **Last Run** | Date, time, and relative age of the most recent execution |
| **Duration** | How long the most recent run took to complete             |

The following actions are available from the top right:

| Action        | Description                             |
| ------------- | --------------------------------------- |
| **Delete**    | Permanently delete the compliance plan  |
| **Edit Plan** | Open the plan configuration for editing |
| **Run Now**   | Trigger an immediate compliance run     |
| **Export**    | Export plan data as CSV or JSON         |

## Metric cards

| Metric                      | Description                                                    |
| --------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Overall Compliance**      | Compliance percentage from the most recent run                 |
| **Devices Monitored**       | Number of devices in this plan. Shows change vs. prior 7 days. |
| **Non-Compliant Devices**   | Number of devices that scored below 85% in the most recent run |
| **Connection Success Rate** | Connection success rate from the most recent run               |

## Connection errors

The **Connection Errors** panel displays connection failures from the most recent run. It shows the number of successful connections, failed connections, and the overall success rate.

Error messages are grouped by error type. Each group is expandable and shows a count badge indicating how many devices returned that error. Click **View More Errors** to see the full error list.

Error messages are displayed exactly as returned by the device or adapter. When a device fails to connect without returning a specific error, the system displays: "Connection failed - no error details received from device." ## Compliance trend chart

The **Compliance Trend** chart shows compliance percentage over time for this plan. Use the time range toggle to adjust the view:

| Range   | Description            |
| ------- | ---------------------- |
| **7d**  | Last 7 days            |
| **30d** | Last 30 days (default) |
| **3mo** | Last 3 months          |
| **6mo** | Last 6 months          |

## Compliance by operating system

Displays compliance results for this plan grouped by operating system. Each row shows the OS type badge, OS name, a compliance progress bar, compliance percentage, device count, and a link to view errors for that OS.

## Execution history

A paginated table of all runs for this compliance plan.

| Column                 | Description                                     |
| ---------------------- | ----------------------------------------------- |
| **Execution Date**     | Date and time the run was triggered             |
| **Devices**            | Number of devices included in the run           |
| **Compliance**         | Compliance percentage for the run               |
| **Connection Success** | Connection success rate for the run             |
| **Duration**           | How long the run took to complete               |
| **Triggered By**       | How the run was initiated (Manual or Scheduled) |

All columns are sortable.

## Compliance plan devices

A paginated table of all devices in this compliance plan and their current compliance status.

| Column               | Description                                            |
| -------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Device Name**      | The device name as it appears in inventory             |
| **IP Address**       | The device IP address                                  |
| **Compliance Score** | The device's compliance score from the most recent run |
| **Status**           | The device's current compliance status                 |
| **OS Type**          | The device operating system                            |

All columns are sortable.
