# Set a project's thumbnail image

PUT https://example.itential.io/automation-studio/projects/{projectId}/thumbnail

Sets a project's thumbnail image.

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (basic auth, required) — Basic authentication of the form `Basic <base64(username:password)>`.

This endpoint expects an object.

- `imageData` (string, required) — Binary image data encoded as a base64 string
- `backgroundColor` (string, optional, default: #FFFFFF) — Thumbnail background color
