This release alert applies to Itential Platform 2023.2.3.
In the 2023.2.8 maintenance release, Itential addresses a Redis memory consumption issue associated with health checks in degraded 2023.2 Itential Platform installations. Service health reporting was simplified, and health check behavior was made configurable through new properties in the system profile.
New Profile Properties Added
Two new optional profile configuration properties which are used to configure health check behavior were added.

Determines how many health check intervals a service can miss before it is considered offline. | Measured in number of intervals (also in seconds when multiplied by the interval setting). Default: 3 missed health checks Minimum: 1 |
These new optional profile properties apply to:
- Itential Platform 2023.2.x and higher
The default values for these new properties are applied at service runtime, which means existing profiles will continue to work without requiring modification.
