Migration and Indexing Scripts Removed

Scripts Removed in Itential Platform 2022.1 Release

In the 2022.1 release, we removed several migration and indexing scripts that impact release versions which are no longer supported. This includes every release version prior to, but not including the 2020.2 release.

If you are attempting to upgrade from an unsupported release to 2022.1, first upgrade to a supported release version such as the 2021.2 release. Then, run all the relevant migration scripts for that release and start up IP to ensure all automatic migration scripts are also executed.

Among the scripts removed from the 2022.1 release are:

• validateAdapters (pronghorn-core)
• migrateAdapters (pronghorn-core)
• installService (pronghorn-core)
• npm run index (app-mop, app-service_catalog, app-workflow_engine)
• normalizeJobGroups (app-workflow_engine)
• migrateJobsAndTasks20192 (app-workflow_engine)
• migrateJobsFrom20193 (app-workflow_engine)

It is important to note that, if upgrading from the 2020.1 release, some of these scripts may have previously been run and do not need to be run again. For indexing, please see the Indexing tab within Itential Platform → Admin Essentials → Profiles.
