Installing the LDAP Adapter

To add adapter-ldap to your IAP build and to deploy the new build:

1. The LDAP and Local-AAA adapters can both be installed at the same time. However, only one adapter may be active at any given time.

2. Utilize multiple service config documents for transferring between adapters (recommended best practice).

   • The example below shows three adapter configurations. One is a connection to the AAA authentication. The second is to the production LDAP server. The third is to the staging LDAP server.
   • To change the connection method, exchange the AAA adapter configured in the active IAP Profile and restart IAP.
   • This is only required if you expect you will need to change between authentication methods.
