Custom Directory Options
In some instances users may need to use alternative folders when installing IAP. This section covers how to install IAP in another directory and adjust the properties. To customize the IAP installation,
bin -h can be used to view available options and pick an alternative directory other than the default location used in a standard IAP install. An example showing the
-h command is provided below.
Use Tab completion in the Linux command line and then type
-h at the end of the line.
→ sh ./itential-<build-id>_version.linux.x86_64.bin -h
The results will display directory information from the environment you are using.
<build-id>in the installer binary above will match the version being installed.
