The RADIUS adapter allows interaction with the RADIUS server for authentication. When using this adapter, it requires that the RADIUS server include a vendor specific attribute (VSA) that is typically placed within the dictionary file.

A suggested dictionary entry is found in the section on configuring FreeRADIUS files and will correspond with this guide. The syntax provided is for FreeRADIUS. The syntax with other RADIUS servers and dictionary files may be different, so please refer to the individual RADIUS server documentation to determine the exact syntax needed. Moreover, you will need to ensure you have the users and group (VSA attribute – Itential-Group) correctly configured.
